The pictures shown below were taken during the dedication ceremony for Private Robert McCorkendale's Grave Marker Ceremony held on 20 September 2003. Charles D. McCorkendale's Union Ancestor was his great grandfather, Private Robert (McCorkell) McCorkendale of Company D, 2nd Colorado Cavalry. He served from 7 October 1862 to 23 September 1865. Charles D. McCorkendale is a member of Westport #64. The ceremony was held in a small cemetary Northeast of Richmond, MO.
