James G. Walden of Lees Summit is a Charter Member of our camp. His ancestor was great grandfather, Private George Hattabaugh of Company H, 33rd Regiment of Missouri Infantry. He served from August 22, 1862 to August 10, 1865.

James' other veteran ancestors are:
Great Grandfather Samuel Hurlburt: Company G, 2nd Provisional Regiment, Enrolled Missouri Militia. He served from March 30, 1863 to November 20, 1863. Union Army

Great Great Uncle Alfred Ledford: Battery L, 2nd Regiment, Missouri Light Artillery. He served from February 6, 1862 to November 20, 1865. Union Army

I also have a Confederate Great Grandfather Hillery Capps: Company E, 29th Tennessee Infantry Regiment. He served in the Army of Tennessee from August 13, 1861 till the Army of Tennessee was paroled at Greensboro, North Carolina on May 2, 1865.
