January 2010 Meeting:
The January 2010 meeting is planned for Wednesday, 6 January 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at Villages of Jackson Creek, Building 3980A, 3980 S. Jackson Drive, Independence, Missouri. The meeting room is located on the left side of the hallway and then proceed down stairs to the lower level.
Subsequent Meeting Schedule for 2010:
Remaining meetings for 2010 are scheduled for the first Wednesday of each month. All meeting dates are subject to change.
Local Civil War Museum:

James B. Eads Award:
Westport Camp #64 was honored with the Eads Award for 2004-2005. This is an award presented by the Department of Missouri to the most outstanding camp. What made our camp outstanding this past year was the number of grave registrations submitted, money raised from different projects, new member applications being accepted, and event participation with the Department of Missouri.
